Ryan is a Colorado native born and raised in Aurora, but has lived in Parker since 2016. He started his career in the craft beer industry here with us at Downhill in 2019, working the kitchen, bar, and now his current role as GM. Prior to working at Downhill Ryan worked as Telecommunications Engineer for over 10 years traveling all over the US, which in turn gave him the ability to visit a large number of some of the best craft breweries in the country. He is currently working to get his certified beer server certification, to further expand his beer knowledge. The beer that holds a special place in his heart is the Coconut Porter from Broken Compass Brewing. When he’s not working at the brewery you can catch him spending time with his family, at a brewery enjoying a cold beer with his pup Walter or playing hockey. Fun fact, from 2005-2007 Ryan brought home 3 gold medals with The Junior World USA Inline Hockey Team wearing the hat of assistant captain 2 of the 3 years.
