DOWNPEAK POMEGRANATE SOUR
Taste our collaboration project with our great friends at Peakview Brewing! This fermtation vessel soured ale was brewed with 84lbs of pomegranate purée. We used 2-row, white wheat, and flaked oats for the malt profile and a touch of vanilla to round out the finish.
Brewed with our good friends at Joyride Brewing Company as part of their 7th Anniversary Collab Series, this Gose was brewed with watermelon purée and kiwi juice in order to provide maximum refreshment. Kettle soured for 24 hours to add a light tartness and brewed with pink Himalayan sea salt for a gentle kiss of salinity. The beer may not be made of the purest Azerbaijani cashmere wool, but will still come in handy during any spy mission.
CUTE FUZZY BUNNY
Our classic saison with sweet orange peel added late boil for citrus aroma and 84 pounds of pink guava puree added post fermentation. Fruity and refreshing with subtle spice notes from a specialty Belgian yeast. Is it weird that I want to cuddle with this beer?
BIKINI GIRLS WITH MACHINE GUNS
Back by popular demand! Brewed with imported British malt from Simpsons. Golden Promise, Heritage Crystal, and Chocolate malts are the backbone of this brew. East Kent Golding hops and English ale yeast contribute to make this a perfect representation of a traditional Porter. And then Coconut! Soooooo Much Coconut!
You know it’s autumn when there’s football on TV, the weather breaks, and Märzens are flowing! The traditional German style lager is easy drinking with clean, rich, and bready malt flavors. Prost!
We skinned and juiced 250 pounds of fresh select cucumbers for this quenching delight. Kettle souring with a select lacto strain and Cal ale yeast offer the perfect base brew. A little sweet? Yup. Sour? Definitely. Re-fresh-ing? 100% Recommend pairing? Patio!
A little sweet, a little spicy, and very refreshing! We brewed a traditional Hefeweizen with hops, malt, wheat, and yeast imported from Germany. Natural clove and banana esters developed during fermentation provide flavors unique to this style of beer. A wheat heavy grain build makes this beer refreshing as is but we decided to break the Reinheitsgebot and take it up a notch. We added blueberry purée during the boil and a blend of blueberry and Açaí post fermentation giving this brew a beautiful pink hue and additional sweetness.
Our award winning Kölsch is a top-fermented, lagered beer. This beer is brewed with all German ingredients and follows the Rheinheitsgebot. Ask your friendly beertender what that means.
Rounded by a malty backdrop of caramel and biscuit notes, this ale opens up with hints of toasty bitterness and finishes with a slight sweetness.
GHOST TOWN BROWN
An Elk Mountain throwback! This English Brown is brewed with imported malts which provide a rich body with chocolatey overtones. Willamette hops balance the sweetness from the malts and lend a slight floral note. Historically named for the time period after the 1933 flood that devastated Parker and drove most of the population out leaving a ghost town.
SATURDAY NUT FEVER
Our Brown Ale dosed with plenty of peanut butter! Get down with the boogie and enjoy our locally famous peanut butter ale only available in our taproom.
This heavy hitting IPA delivers a devastating hop pop! Light in body as it was brewed exclusively with Colorado grown and malted Pilsner two row. An early addition of Cryo Chinook hops steps into the ring with clean bitterness. The mid-boil addition of Centennial adds a subtle pine flavor that leads into the final pop. Cryo Pop that is! For the first time we broke out Yakima Cheif’s new Cryo Pop blend. An early dry hop of this blend brings the knockout with sweet citrus and tropical aromas.
This fruity delight is another exclusive beer to Downhill’s taproom! Like the Red Witch herself, this beer is sweet, mesmerizing, and will have you coming back for more for every time. If you haven’t had one get yourself down to the taproom and get you some!
